Day 2

Breakfast in hotel and meeting with the Tour Guide.

Departure for Garda Island  by ferryboat. The creation of the beautiful natural park on the island dates back to 1880, and its importance is due to the presence of botanical species from around the world. On the terrace in front of the villa, there is an Italian  garden created in the early ‘900. Over the centuries, the Garda Island had various names taken from the different owners such as Cranie, Frati,  Lechi, Scotti, de Ferrari, and later Borghese. In 1927, after the death of Prince Borghese, the island was inherited by his daughter Livia, married to  Count Alessandro Cavazza of Bologna, and later bestowed to her son Camillo.  The latter  left it to  his wife Carlotta and his seven children. Nowadays they are living in the villa and still looking after the park.

After the visit, tasting of local products.

In the afternoon, visit to  the striking Bonaspetti Park with  unique views of the lake and mountains.

Departure for the train Station/ Airport.

End of the tour.
