Arrival in Perugia in the early afternoon, and check in to Hotel Rosetta located on one of the main squares of Perugia city centre. The tour guide  Antonio Pacifico will illustrate  the tour. Guided tour of Perugia. Dinner in a local restaurant.

Breakfast in hotel. Meeting with the tour guide Mr Marchesi Emilio to visit San Pietro. The medieval vegetable garden of Perugia is in Borgo XX Giugno, inside the ancient Benedictine Monastery of San Pietro, and today is also the headquarters of the department Agricultural of Università degli Studi di Perugia. The medieval vegetable garden displays the characteristics  of  a garden of the past, in a Benedictine structure,  which the presence of water was a kind of rule for those places.  We may be visiting the first edition of “Perugia Flower Show”, set up   in the Frontone Gardens , adjacent to San Pietro Convent. Lunch at Vega Restaurant. After lunch, drive to the private estate  Ginestrella owned by Mrs Terri La Cava, (075-602142) to may be seeing its splendid garden. It consists of a wide range of various gardens.  The huge rose garden with 300 species is a must-see. Centuries-old  plants are scattered along the way.

Return to the hotel.

Breakfast in hotel. Visit to  the Private Garden of Mr Giorgio Milletti, in the old town centre of Perugia. The garden in harmony with the structure , reflects the  layout example of the thirties and forties. Transfer to the Private Residence of Miss Mariaviola Maori, President of the Garden Club of Perugia. Drink offered by the President. Afterwards, stop in San Feliciano sul Trasimeno to visit  Polvese Island.  Then stop at the  Artwork of Porcinai,  an example of water garden. Return by boat. In the afternoon, visit to the Private Garden of Mr Leonardo Servadio in Taverne of Corciano, a garden realized by the  famous garden designer Pietro Porcinai. The next visit may be Solomeo,  well known  for the production of cashmere. Return to the hotel. Dinner in hotel.

In the early morning, visit to the Private Garden of Mrs Maria Elisa Leboroni in the old town centre.

Lunch at the Agriturismo Gatto Giallo. Visit to the beautiful Scarzuola Monastery,  founded by San Francesco in 1218. The apse of the Church preserves the Saint’s frescoes. In 1956,  the Architect Tommaso Buzzi, just near the Convent, realized the well-known ideal city .Through  green paths,  it is possible to reach this surreal place whose  garden,  and the beautiful acropolis,  make it really magic. The tour is guided by  the owner Mr Marco Solari.
